Snow Over Kigali: An African Christmas Tale

Told from an African perspective through the eyes of a nine year old boy, Snow Over Kigali follows three interconnected stories unfolding between Kigali and Berlin. Ethan travels alone from Kigali to Berlin in search of snow. At the foot of the Berlin Television Tower, he meets former athlete Nick, who promises that snow will fall on Christmas Eve. Following a painful separation, Esther keeps her pregnancy secret from her German boyfriend, Patrick. Determined to fight for their love and unborn daughter, Patrick travels from Berlin to Kigali. Twenty years after the Rwandan genocide, widower George returns to Rwanda to fulfil his late wife Deborah’s final wish. His search for Deborah’s daughter forces the family to confront a truth buried in the past. Their journeys converge in Berlin on Christmas Eve in a heartfelt celebration of family, truth and love across borders.
