The Night I Left Behind

Kike, a 17 year old struggling with an existential crisis and approaching adulthood, travels from Pichilemu to Santiago in search of the father who abandoned him years earlier. When his father is nowhere to be found, Kike receives an address that may lead to him. He joins Mauro and Israel, two young men he meets that night, on a journey through the outer suburbs of Santiago. The Night I Left Behind is an intimate exploration of abandonment, uncertainty and a young person’s search for affection and belonging.
