Alonso, a young man from the provinces, struggles to build a life in Santiago, surviving on tips, regular phone calls with his mother and the hope of becoming something more. One night, while attending an exclusive university party, he suddenly believes he has found an opportunity to prove himself and become the hero he imagines he could be. Being a Quijote is a coming-of-age drama about ambition, class, identity and the fragile line between aspiration and illusion.
