Historical Drama
In the vast landscapes of the Atacama Desert, a young Diaguita woman is forced to leave her home after being chosen by the Inca Empire for a sacred destiny. As the caravan travels north, her father, Copay, confronts loss, silent resistance and the search for meaning beyond obedience. Those accompanying the journey also begin to change: a warrior questions his convictions, a leader clings to power, and a sage senses what others cannot perceive. When a mysterious object appears along their path, its presence unsettles their beliefs and seems to awaken long-forgotten memories. Blending the Andean worldview with science fiction, Lanka and the Core is an ancestral fable about memory, identity and humanity’s relationship with the unknown.
