After a long day of obligations and responsibilities, Emi returns home exhausted and overwhelmed. Seeking distance from her problems, she retreats to her room and her phone, while unresolved emotions continue to build beneath the surface. When her cat, Oniri, accidentally triggers her anxiety, the familiar surroundings of her everyday life give way to a surreal world. Drawn into a distorted landscape shaped by her emotions, Emi must confront the fears she has been trying to escape. Through intimate storytelling and expressive animation, Immersed explores anxiety, emotional exhaustion and the fragile boundary between seeking refuge within oneself and facing what lies beneath.
